Downtime, Uptime

On Aug 31, 2023, our virtual private server (VPS) provider, DesiVPS, notified us that their upstream provider, Dedipath, was going out of business effective immediately. The news was posted in an online forum at the time. Dedipath encouraged all customers (that's us) to "Please migrate your data and take backups as soon as possible" in the literally hours remaining until the shutdown. Unfortunately, we didn't respond to the notification in time and our website disappeared into the void when the plug was pulled.
No backups existed here, but thanks to archive.org's Wayback Machine, the text of the articles has been preserved and is now back in our database as of today, 8 March 2024.
Apologies for the downtime, and we hope you enjoy the simpler site format, which has been a nice exercise in php and MariaDB.
